Education & Skill Development

Skill Development Programme For BPL Women & Girls To Enable the BPL Women and Girls to be self sufficient, SAF has been involved in the area of skill development for their sustainable growth. We have organised Nursing Helper training course in order to generate income among deprived society specifically women & girls.

Education improves our lives and the lives of those we come in contact with. It is the most important factor for improving the quality of our lives. Skill development(Nursing Assistant Course) & Beauty Culture Course), computer education and personality development programme for youth population has its own success story, about 3000 students has able to make their career through these programmes.

We have Organised a 5 Month Academic course and 1 Month Internship in hospital “Helpers for Hospitals and Nursing Homes” for girls and women at Sangam Vihar, Mohammadpur, Molarband, Masjid Moth & Khayala Village . Till now about 3000 trainees have completed this course under the supervision of Dr. Loveena Gupta & Dr. Ranju Barnwal, MBBS, MD (Obst. & Gynae) and placed in Nursing Home and various Hospitals

India is one of those countries where the individual incurs the largest out of pocket expenses on health. So, In consideration of this SAF has conducted health activities since 2000 in North India & NCR, Delhi in collaboration with PHDRDF, PHDFWF and Delhi Medical Association where we are providing services, free medical camps, free medical consultancy, free medical check-up i.e. X-ray, ECGC, Blood Urine Test, Ultrasound etc. About people got benefited by the camps conducted by the foundation.

This program is supported by Delhi state AIDS Control society and NACO.

Targeted Intervention programme

Targeted Intervention programme for HIV/AIDS among Migrant population

HIV/AIDS has become the biggest challenge before the mankind. Efforts were made by the foundation to educate people about the causes of AIDS and the precautions that one should take at the time of taking injections, blood transfusion and unsafe sex etc.

We have registered more than 82150 migrant population who is at high risk of HIV/AIDS and catered them through various facility like STI diagnosis and Treatment, counseling, HIV Testing, Referral to ART and community care centre.
